Now, let me share this scrumptious & sweet Peach Pie Walnut Bars Recipe. My friend came over to visit me, I baked this easy to make Peach Pie for us to enjoy it with tea. She loved it! Next day, she called me and asked for the recipe so she can make it for her family. That is when I decided to share it here:D
These Peach Pie Bars are so GOOD! Made of delicious ripe peaches, crispy crumbled top and toasted walnuts. Moist in the middle, crispy on the top and altogether finger-lickingly delicious!!!

What You will need to make Peach Pie Walnut Bars:
Ingredients for Crust
13 tablespoons butter, room temperature plus more for buttering pan
1 cup organic sugar
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
Ingredients for Filling
3½ cups sliced peaches, little bit more than 1 lb
½ organic sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ cup walnut, chopped

How to make Peach Pie:
Step One
Preheat the oven to 375. Butter 8 by 8 by 2 inch baking pan.
Step Two
In a mixing bowl & using mixer, beat 13 tablespoons butter and 1 cup sugar until light color, about 3 minutes. Add 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon Kosher salt beat until dough turns into clumps. Using hands, press 2½ cups dough mixture into the pan, making 1 inch up sides.
Step Three
In a mixing bowl, combine 3½ cups sliced peaches, ½ cup sugar, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, ½ teaspoon Kosher salt. Pour filling into the crust. Sprinkle the rest of the dough mixture over the top (Tip: You might want to squeeze the dough with your hands to create beautiful clumps) followed by ½ cup chopped walnuts. Bake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until golden crust and filling is bubbling (if the top starts turning brown fast, place a foil paper over the top). Let it cool. Cut into 2 inch - 16 bars. Enjoy with coffee or ice cream!
